CG Traduction & Interprétation is proud to announce
that its Director, Catherine Granell, has been elected Vice President of the EUATC(European Union of Associations
of Translation Companies). With a two year term of office starting on 1 January 2011, the new board will be chaired by Mirko Silvestrini (Italy) and
Cherie Plaice (Great Britain) will take up the position of Treasurer.
The EUATC is a European organisation bringing together all national translation associations. In France, the CNET (Chambre Nationale des Entreprises de Traduction) is made up of some thirty companies from across the country.
Professional organisations such as the EUATC and the CNET strive to achieve several objectives:
– Promote the translation industry
– Bring translation companies together to solve common issues
– Provide a united voice for translation companies when addressing institutions
– Work together to find training and quality solutions
The EUATC ensures member companies’ legitimacy and credibility through commitment to a quality and translation service improvement process.
